Rajeev Deoras is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with over 43 years of experience in banking, risk management, corporate governance, credit, and financial services.
He is the Co-Founder and President of Purple Finance Limited, where he oversees governance, legal, compliance, risk, audit, and strategy functions. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in establishing and scaling banking franchises at ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, while also serving in leadership positions at Essel Finance and Karvy Financial Services.
He is recognized for building strong risk management frameworks, strengthening corporate governance practices, driving business growth, and maintaining high asset quality. An engineering graduate with CAIIB qualification, he began his career with State Bank of India and has undergone executive training at premier institutions including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, NIBM, and Indian School of Business.

He was also Head of Internal Audits & Processes.

He was Zonal Head Western India for RBL Bank (Micro banking & MSME). Started and expanded the Micro Business in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Chattisgarh and Goa.
Past experience of Microfinance & MSME Business at HDFC Bank, Managed the Sales and Distribution network of 22 Branches in UP, Uttarakhan, Bihar and Jharkhand.

Her core competencies span treasury management, taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit management, with a proven track record of handling complex SEBI and RBI compliance requirements as well as coordinating audits with Big 4 firms.
